In order to not let history repeat itself, we must:
- Demand a permanent, consent-based national storage solution for nuclear waste
- Oppose the expansion of nuclear energy until the waste crisis is resolved
- Reject legislation like AB 305, which would roll back California’s 1976 Nuclear Safeguards Act and open the door to new reactors without solving the current waste crisis
- Let’s stop the history of failures at San Onofre from becoming California's legacy.
